Ms. Kupala Owen-Tara, Esq., Legal Assistant
Ms. Owen-Tara has dedicated her education and professional life to victims’ advocacy. As Law and Justice major, Ms. Owen-Tara was issued the Certificate of Commendation in connection with her research and presentation on behalf of the Teen Court Project.
During law school, Ms. Owen-Tara volunteered with the King County (Seattle) Prosecutor’s Office in the Felony Domestic Violence division, where she assisted prosecutors in domestic and child abuse cases. Ms. Owen-Tara also volunteered as a clerk to the Honorable Elizabeth Strance in the Third Circuit Court (Hawaii) where she was able to experience criminal prosecutions and civil litigation from a judicial perspective.
After graduating law school and obtaining her law license in Washington State, Ms. Owen-Tara started her own law practice dedicated to the zealous representation of victims in serious and difficult plaintiff-side civil litigation matters.
