For over 16 years, Ms. Reyes has worked in the Human Rights, United Nations Sanctions and justice sectors with the United Nations and the International Criminal Court. She has worked in a variety of contexts including Eritrea and Ethiopia, Sudan (Darfur), Chad, Palestine (Gaza), Afghanistan, Central African Republic, Mali and Latin America. Within the United Nations, she has worked with DPKO, OHCHR, OCHA, UNICEF and the Security Council Sanctions Committees. She holds a BA in History with emphasis in international relations and an MA in Peace and Conflict Studies. She speaks and writes fluently in English, French and Spanish.
