About the Role

Job Summary:

Under the overall supervision and strategic guidance of the Legal and Program Director (Ukraine) and the daily coordination of the Program Coordinator, the Project Officer will work to oversee and organize the Kharkiv project activities of the Ukraine Program. The Project Officer will be responsible for facilitating and coordinating the daily work of those team members working for the Kharkiv project, supporting the needs identified by the team, identifying sources and partners, facilitating daily communication with the partners on the ground, participating in the implementation of project activities, monitoring the situation and advising on the implementation of the project, and keeping track of the achievements and deliverables with timely reporting.


The Project Officer will be responsible for:


Organizes and supports effective project implementation activities:

  • Planning, coordination, and organization of the project implementation process, taking into account the scope of work, deadlines, resources, and budget.

  • Organization of partners for project implementation.

  • Coordination and communication with project implementers, contractors, and partners.

  • Ensuring the achievement of quantitative and qualitative project indicators in collaboration with the team.

  • Preparation of administrative project documentation, including contracts, reports, certificates, and other project documents.

  • Monitoring the implementation of project indicators.

  • Preparation of project progress reports and fulfillment of obligations in regard to the donor.

  • Together with other managers, is responsible for achieving the goals set for the Organization and participates in strategic and operational planning of the Organization.


Profile: Qualifications and Attributes

  • Ukrainian native or advanced speaker.

  • Experience and skills in project management;.General financial, administrative, and information skills.

  • Strategic thinking and operational mindset.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Excellent report writing skills.

  • Proficiency in English, at Advanced level.

  • Ukraine-based and must speak Ukrainian fluently.
