Job Summary:

Under the overall supervision and strategic guidance of the Legal and Program Director (Ukraine) and the daily coordination of the Program Coordinator, the Project Officer will work to oversee and organize the activities of the joint PEJ Ukraine program / Truth Hounds project Restraining a Doubt Machine. The Project Officer will be responsible for supporting, facilitating and coordinating the daily work of those team members working for the project, coordinating with the rest of the Ukraine Program and supporting the needs identified by the project team, Coordinating and acting as a focal point with Truth Hound Project manager, facilitating daily communication with Truth Hound and other partners on the ground, identifying sources and partners, participating in the implementation of project activities, monitoring the situation and advising on the implementation of the project, and keeping track of the achievements and deliverables with timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Officer will be responsible for:

Organizes and supports effective project implementation activities:
Planning, coordination, and organization of the project implementation process, taking into account the scope of work, deadlines, resources, and budget.
Coordination with Truth Hounds Project Manager and the Truth Hounds team working on this project.
Coordination with the rest of the PEJ Ukraine Program.
Coordination and communication with project implementers, contractors, and partners.
Ensuring the achievement of quantitative and qualitative project indicators in collaboration with the team.
Preparation of administrative project documentation, including contracts, reports, certificates, and other project documents.
Tracking budget implementation (bills/invoices) and ensuring documentation of expenses.
Supporting the management and population of the Database together with the Data analyst.
Monitoring the implementation of project indicators.
Preparation of project progress reports and fulfillment of obligations in regard to the donor.
Together with other managers, is responsible for achieving the goals set for the Organization and participates in strategic and operational planning of the Organization.
